About The Position
Destination Knot is seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven Remote Travel Coordinator to support clients with travel planning and logistics. The coordinator works directly with individuals, families, and groups to arrange flights, hotels, ground transportation, and activities. The role involves understanding client preferences, goals, and budgets; researching tailored destinations and experiences; and managing reservations and itinerary changes. The position is fully remote with flexible hours and is suited to someone who is organized, comfortable with digital tools, and enthusiastic about travel.
Requirements
- Previous experience in travel planning, hospitality, or customer service is helpful but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfort using digital tools, booking platforms, and communication systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection and personal computer.
- Passion for travel and helping others plan meaningful experiences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage complete travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, transportation, and excursions.
- Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, goals, and budgets.
- Research and recommend destinations, resorts, and experiences tailored to client needs.
- Book and confirm travel reservations using online tools and booking platforms.
- Handle changes, cancellations, and special requests proactively and with a solution-focused approach.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of client bookings and communications.
- Stay informed about destination trends, travel policies, and partner promotions.
- Deliver high-quality service and a positive travel-planning experience from start to finish.
