About The Position
At Daybreak Health, we are dedicated to making quality mental healthcare accessible to everyone. We are a growing organization that partners with over 60 school districts and dozens of health plans, and we are expanding to serve both adolescents and adults. This position offers Texas-licensed clinicians the opportunity to expand their practice by obtaining a California license with our support and reimbursement, leading to a consistent and full caseload through our health plan partnerships.
Requirements
- Fully licensed in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Willingness to pursue California licensure (guidance and support provided)
- Passion for mental health and a commitment to culturally responsive, equitable care
- Experience working with youth and/or adults in clinical or school settings
- Comfortable providing telehealth services
- This role is open to fully licensed Texas clinicians only. Associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.
Responsibilities
- Build strong, supportive relationships with clients to create a safe therapeutic space
- Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to adults and adolescents experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions
- Provide psychoeducation to parents and caregivers
