Requirements

  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
  • Experience in systems engineering, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, validation
  • Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Cameo/MSOSA, SysML
  • Proven track record developing deliverables requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Experience with verification, certification, or acceptance test planning and execution

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Experience developing or managing program baselines
  • Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles for complex aerospace vehicles
  • Strong communication skills in articulating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders
  • Background in engineering analyses such as affordability, reliability, maintainability, testability, and system security
  • Familiarity with RIO and TPM management, technical review planning and execution

Responsibilities

  • Drive system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE tools (SysML, Cameo) to define interfaces and functions across domains
  • Develop and update Statements of Work, conduct impact analyses, and manage changes with customers and leadership
  • Ensure alignment and clear communication within teams, suppliers, and clients; identify and resolve obstacles collaboratively
  • Support implementation of MBSE within a robust digital engineering ecosystem
  • Plan and execute verification, certification, and acceptance test efforts (lab, ground, flight)
  • Develop and review cross-discipline systems engineering deliverables in partnership with engineering teams
