Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, robotics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing simulation software.
  • Demonstrated ability as both a technical contributor and team leader.
  • Expertise in modern C++ software development on complex distributed systems.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to identify, scope, and prioritize high-impact simulation opportunities.
  • Lead a team of software engineers to develop simulation features aligned with business objectives.
  • Shape the technical direction of simulation software and ensure a robust, scalable design.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support and complex problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with software, robotics, and testing teams to ensure accurate simulator performance.
  • Act as the technical lead for simulation in the surgical robot project, championing adoption and mentoring team members.
