About The Position

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Remote Recruiter for its Southeast Region. This role is crucial for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. The Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. This position involves utilizing various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing, to build a robust candidate pipeline. The role is remote but may require occasional travel to support regional office locations and special events like Hiring Events. Qualified candidates must reside in the Southeast region (Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in Human Resources at a corporate full-cycle recruiter level.
  • In-depth knowledge of appropriate HR laws, policies, and practices.
  • Ability to work on problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Must confidentially demonstrate conduct that reflects MEI’s Mission and Values as well as appropriate levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written, verbal, and presentation), facilitation, project management, and integration skills.
  • Excellent candidate sourcing skills and establishing sourcing resources for passive and active career seekers.
  • Demonstrated abilities working as a remote professional in a multi-site, multi-state organization.
  • Demonstrated abilities to comfortably and effectively support other areas of Human Resources as needed.
  • Possess a positive and professional demeanor in support of candidates, company human resources, and MEI culture.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications and HRMS software.
  • Ability to travel as needed to other facility sites.
  • Must live in the Southeast region: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and establish interviewing schedules with hiring managers.
  • Generate, administer, and manage employment offer process and negotiations.
  • Administer job requisition process to include assisting with job descriptions and compensation.
  • Administer pre-employment and post offer process to include background checks, drug screening, condition of employment sign offs, etc.
  • Understand, interpret, and comply with all state and federal laws as they relate to recruitment, hiring, and employment practices.
  • Conduct research, evaluate, and implement best recruitment practices.
  • Administer and coordinate employment agency, search firms, and headhunter relationships, including negotiation of contracts and agreements.
  • Coordinate hiring managers staffing needs.
  • Actively cultivate and maintain strong partnering relationships with multi-site, multi-state locations.
  • Administer employee referral program.
  • Provide employee database and employee file management as they relate to recruitment.
  • Establish and maintain all networking, social media, job board sites, and Industry Association relationships in pursuit of building a solid sourcing program.
  • Coordinate new employee and benefit orientation programs with required Human Resources staff.
  • Coordinate the administration of MEI’s website as it relates to recruitment with the marketing contractor.
  • Provide support for company-sponsored employee events, such as operating budget, recruitment fairs, and/or trade shows.
  • Create and implement training programs to develop Hiring Managers' development of best interviewing, screening, and selection practices.
  • Develop and administer ongoing recruitment logs and matrices.
  • Act as an active member of the Human Resources team, supporting, defining, creating, establishing, and promoting all main functions associated with Human Resources, including recruitment and hiring, new employee assistance with benefits and benefit programs, employee database administration, and employee relations and development.
  • Perform regular and predictable work remotely and perform work during scheduled or agreed-upon times.
  • Complete other responsibilities and tasks as needed within the Human Resources team.
