About The Position
The Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) Supervisor will oversee and direct the activities of Controller Training Solutions (CTS) personnel providing RPO support at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves managing RPO schedules, monitoring daily operations within the area of responsibility, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of RPO timecards. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is dedicated to maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism in air traffic control, with a well-trained workforce being crucial. The FAA employs over 14,000 air traffic controllers who manage aircraft separation daily. To meet training needs, the FAA utilizes contractor-provided instructional services across the U.S. and its Territories for both new and recurrent training of air traffic control specialists. SAIC provides comprehensive training and support services to prepare students for certification as air traffic controllers.
