Requirements

Proven experience in a similar IT support or technical helpdesk role.
Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 suite.
Practical experience with remote desktop applications and IT helpdesk ticketing systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
A keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing a high-quality support service.

Nice To Haves

Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Responsibilities

Provide first and second-line technical support to our employees for all hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Respond to, diagnose, and resolve IT support requests in a timely and professional manner via email, telephone, and remote support tools.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, and associated applications.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating more complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
Meticulously document all support activities, solutions, and procedures within our IT helpdesk system.
Assist with the IT setup and onboarding of new employees, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and system access from day one.
Contribute to the maintenance of IT security protocols and best practices throughout the organisation to safeguard company data.
