About The Position

Quiet Village Landscaping is seeking a Remote Inside Sales Representative to serve as an early point of contact for prospective and existing clients. This role involves responding to inquiries, gathering information about landscaping needs, qualifying opportunities, scheduling appointments, following up on estimates, and maintaining an organized sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have excellent spoken and written English, strong follow-through, comfort speaking by phone, and the ability to learn landscaping terminology, company services, pricing processes, and internal systems.

Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English is required.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, appointment setting, customer service, lead qualification, or call-center sales.
  • Confident and professional telephone presence.
  • Strong listening, questioning, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable discussing pricing, estimates, services, and scheduling.
  • Organized, dependable, and consistent with follow-up.
  • Ability to learn new software, processes, and service terminology.
  • Basic mathematical skills and comfort reviewing estimate information.
  • Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, headset, and quiet workspace.
  • Availability during standard U.S. Central Time business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting a U.S.-based home-service, construction, landscaping, or property-management company is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, website inquiries, and prospective-client requests.
  • Speak with homeowners to understand their property needs, priorities, budgets, and timelines.
  • Qualify leads and determine the appropriate next step or service department.
  • Schedule consultations, site visits, and follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain accurate lead and client information in the company's CRM and scheduling systems.
  • Follow up on open estimates, proposals, and previous inquiries.
  • Re-engage older leads and identify opportunities that may still be active.
  • Explain company services clearly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives, designers, project managers, and service managers.
  • Track calls, appointments, follow-ups, and pipeline activity.
  • Support outbound calling and client-retention initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with basic administrative and customer-service tasks when needed.
