About The Position
Brunswick, a global marine leader, is seeking an experienced Remote Route Driver for their Old Lyme team. This role involves servicing routes in Bar Harbor, Maine, and surrounding areas. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior delivery experience.
- Medical examiner's certificate and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record within company policy limits.
- Must be able to become certified through OSHA in Basic Hazmat, Driver Specific Hazmat, and Security Awareness.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
Nice To Haves
- CDL preferred but not required.
- Hazmat training a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ability to load, secure, and unload product safely.
- Maintain a route schedule.
- Receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery of goods to ensure timely service.
- Accurate handling of CODs and delivery manifests.
- Perform vehicle inspections, both pre- and post-delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems with minimal supervision.
