About The Position

The Processing Specialist III position handles the most complex customers with minimal supervision. The focus of the position is to perform the day-to-day function of highly complex client processing. This role involves handling customers with unique, specific, and/or challenging processing requirements, performing lookups and additional research on rejected payments and paperwork, and making higher-level decisions on transactions. The specialist will manage received dates, effective dates/backdates on mail to be processed to ensure client deadlines are met, and communicate with all areas of Operations throughout the shift to assure deadlines are met. Additionally, the role includes customer contact to resolve issues and processes work accurately while maintaining performance output in accordance with department and client standards. A high-level knowledge of specific client requirements and assistance with training and controls for Quality Assurance are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 years experience in document processing
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Demonstrated the capability to be extremely detail oriented and quality conscious
  • Comfortable working with tight and floating deadlines
  • Clear, direct communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced Deadline-oriented environment
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, overtime and/or off shifts
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and with others
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes
  • Must meet the standard minimums for productivity and accuracy
