The Processing Specialist II position performs complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions. The focus of the position is to perform the day to day functions of reject decisioning/processing. This role involves pulling rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails, performing basic level transaction sorting and decision-making, and header batching items with control documents and processing headers. The role also includes high-speed mail extraction and scanning on various equipment, processing medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning based on client instructions, and accurately processing work while maintaining performance output in accordance with department standards. Assistance with training may also be required.
