Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Remediation Ops Specialist through 08/7/2026 at 11:59 p.m. (CST). As a member of the AR Colorado Remediation team and the broader AR Onshore Colorado team, the Remediation Ops Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing safe and compliant remediation/reclamation activities required to restore prior well and facility locations to an approved end state. The AR Onshore Colorado Remediation team reports to AR Colorado Remediation Manager and consists of 5 Remediation Ops Specialists managing a portfolio of thousands of active remediation and reclamation projects. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Plan, schedule, and coordinate execution of full lifecycle of asset retirement remediation/reclamation scopes of work from P&A / Cut & Cap work all the way to final reclamation and bond release for multiple projects within AR Colorado portfolio. Provide oversight of remediation and reclamation plans, including site assessments, sample collection and analysis, and regulatory compliance. Monitor project parameters and performance to ensure projects stay within assigned scope, timeframe and budget. Recognize and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and financial stewardship. Responsibilities include oversight of internal and external environmental consultants supporting these projects. OE leadership for local remediation and reclamation vendors and subcontractors executing work for AR scopes. In addition, this role will ensure vendors / business partners understand, apply, and exhibit Chevron Way Behaviors ("High Performance Behaviors") and OE when executing work on behalf of the company. Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations by maintaining an effective working relationship with the Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) and supporting internal regulatory strategy, reporting, and readiness activities. Responsibilities include periodic field and office engagements with ECMC officials to review Chevron activities against state and federal requirements. Regular field engagements with workforce / contractors in the field to ensure that planned work is being executed in compliance with regulatory requirements and execution activities are consistent with Chevron OE expectations. Demonstrate strong cross functional communication and alignment skills with both internal and external stakeholders to track safety and performance. Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and hold others accountable for meeting expectations. Tactfully manage confrontation and difficult issues as required.
