About The Position

The Remarketing Coordinator has a wide range of duties for every repossessed or foreclosed asset (ORE/OA) within the Specialty Lending Group (SLG) MH Retail. The Remarketing Coordinator must have intimate knowledgeable of policy and procedure for Remarketing but also have a working knowledge of policy and procedure for Credit, Underwriting, Processing, Escrow, Titling, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Operations, and Credit Risk as they will be required to work regularly with associates from these departments to complete core duties. The Remarketing Coordinator will need to monitor, audit, trouble-shoot, and assist Remarketing Field Agents and Remarketing Managers and report any irregularities or issues to the Director of Remarketing. The Remarketing Coordinator’s primary directive is to facilitate all ORE/OA within SLG are guided through the Remarketing Process with proper documentation in accordance with FB policy and procedure.

Requirements

College degree or 5+ years of relevant industry experience required.
Basic ability in Microsoft office suite including Excel, Access required.
Demonstrate ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines effectively with high degree of accuracy is essential.
Ability to work in an open team environment where you will often be required to stop working on one project to assist a colleague with an urgent task.
Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops and suggests alternative solutions.

Nice To Haves

Manufactured Home Industry experience- Strongly Preferred.
Calyx, Argo, and loan processing experience- Strongly Preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with Credit Risk Reporting Manager to pull Credit Reports for PCO/CO’s as well as make Synapsis entries for collateral values and watch grade changes.
Create, organize and maintain a Repo folder on the sharded drive for each ORE/OA including downloading documentation from SilverLake, Calyx, and other sources.
Generate and complete Repo Checklist.
Assist Field Agents and Remarketing Managers access information and trouble-shoot while they are in the field during and after normal office hours.
Communicates ORE/OA book-in adjustments to SLG Operations.
Generate and send certified mail the Notice of Sale and Personal property removal letters.
Contact ORE/OA pervious insurance company to attempt to get a refund.
Check county personal property and land tax on each ORE/OA to ensure they are up to date and issue a check for payment if delinquent.
Fill out and submit required documentation to obtain a Repo title in FirstBank’s name.
Review and input invoices from vendors to Accounts Payable for Director of Remarketing approval and follow up to ensure prompt payment.
Verify receipt and upload of all pictures of ORE/OA to the repo folder before and after refurb.
Work with Credit and Consumer connect to quickly process credit conditions for ORE/OA sales that are being financed by FirstBank.
Generate Repo Funding worksheet for processing for ORE/OA sales that are being financed by FirstBank and cut check for payment to partner dealers and vendors.
Review Bill of Sale for direct for completion and accuracy before documents are sent to a direct cash or wholesale buyer.
Generate and send sale paperwork needed for titling an ORE/OA on a direct sale.
Manage Repo Sale report for SLG accounting.
Manages Repo Sales tax report.
Inputs data and maintains accuracy in Repo Database.
Images all critical documentation for ORE/OA and field origination audits.
Files UCC on new Repo Dealers.
Acts as Business development manager and processor for a MH Portfolio relationship (Jim Horton- J&G Homes) on new, used, and repo homes including collecting all conditions, stacking the file, generation loan documents, and scheduling closings.
Monitors Jim Horton’s personal reserve account and generates interest statements for same.
Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment.
Maintains and orders office supplies for Remarketing and Credit Risk Departments.
