About The Position

Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Remanufacturing Technician III based out of our Winter Haven location. We’re currently looking for Monday through Friday, working 6:30AM to 3:00PM. As a Remanufacturing Technician III, you will diagnose, repair, and restore vending machines to meet operational and quality standards. This role performs mechanical, electrical, wiring, cooling, and software diagnostics; programs column mapping and vending pricing; and completes full operational testing and QC checks. Technicians use handheld devices, PC‑based tools, and volt meters to identify issues, complete repairs, and prepare machines for final review while supporting team production goals and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Your work ensures that each vending machine is fully restored, reliable, and customer‑ready.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Production or warehouse environment
  • High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Advanced ability to use hand, power and air tools including drills.
  • Effective quality management and technical skills.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Ability to utilize all company‑provided resources and technology.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or related technical work is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow all prescribed safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly output goals.
  • Complete visual, mechanical, and needs assessments to determine required repairs, parts, or pre‑work.
  • Operate handheld devices and PC‑based diagnostic tools to run tests and update software.
  • Perform detailed diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, wiring, cooling, and software issues.
  • Review the weekly production schedule and support the team in meeting department and facility targets.
  • Review column mapping to match selection buttons and program vending pricing according to customer requirements.
  • Test vending machines for proper operation, including motors, lighting, displays, payment systems, and software updates
  • Conduct thorough QC checks to verify structural, cosmetic, and functional quality.
  • Use diagnostic tools, including a voltmeter, to analyze and repair systems, wiring harnesses, motors, control boards, and software‑related issues.
  • Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting associates and company assets.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and compliance with safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance as an essential job function.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
