About The Position

As a Remanufacturing Technician II, you are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing cooler to meet quality, safety, and customer specifications. This role verifies customer requirements, evaluates unit condition, completes necessary part replacements, and performs detailed cleaning, painting, and functional testing. The technician ensures all electrical components, fans, lighting, doors, gaskets, shelves, and decals meet operational standards before submitting the unit for Q.C. review. By delivering fully restored, customer ready coolers, this position plays a critical role in product reliability, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, especially drills.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective quality management and technical skills needed.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and ability to navigate standard software.
  • Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting all associates and company assets.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Quality Control experience preferred.
  • Basic Excel skills preferred, including accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed safety measures and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals.
  • Visually inspect and share feedback on defects to complete like-new appearance.
  • Replace headers and decals as needed.
  • Repair, replace or replenish missing parts such as lightbulbs, shelf clips, shelves, door gaskets, grills and change door orientation.
  • Use Electrical Voltmeter and other tests to analyze cooling, wiring, and mechanical issues.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and order needed parts.
  • Read work orders specific to model, hinge and graphics.
  • Paint coolers and vending machines using appropriate techniques and materials.
  • Prepare or package finished products for shipping.
