This posting is for an applicant pool for affiliate faculty in Religious Studies. These are temporary, part-time, non-tenure track academic positions. The number of positions varies each semester based on program needs. Screening of applicants will occur when positions become available, and not all applicants will be contacted or selected to teach. The Department of Philosophy's mission is to engage students, faculty, and the community in critical conversations about human existence, truth, and inquiry. The department offers a BA in Philosophy and minors in Philosophy and Religious Studies. Instructors will teach one to three classes per semester, with particular needs for courses such as RLG 1040 - Asian Religions, RLG 1050 - Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and RLG 1090 - Religion, Justice, and Liberation Movements. Opportunities exist for teaching both in-person and online.
