About The Position
Bishop O'Connell High School has an opening for a long-term substitute in religion during the 2026 - 2027 school year. This position is expected to run from mid-September 2026 through mid-January 2027. The teaching responsibility would be for 9th and 11th grade students in the courses: “Jesus in Scripture” and “Sacraments”. All religion courses follow the U.S. bishops’ doctrinal framework for high school catechists.
Requirements
- Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience and/or education coursework is preferred.
