About The Position

Relief Veterinary Technicians are needed to join our Emergency department at SAGE Dublin, part of Ethos Veterinary Health. At SAGE Dublin, you will specialize in various areas of veterinary medicine, utilizing the most current knowledge and treatments to ensure the highest standards of care for patients. The Dublin facility is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and offers services in Emergency, Surgery, Critical Care, Oncology, Anesthesiology, and Internal Medicine. Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
• Ability to maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP), obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role (waived if you hold a valid CA-RVT license)

Nice To Haves

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential preferred
• Emergency or specialty experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Emergency department on a flexible, as-needed basis
• Perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
