About The Position

This role involves supervising employees in the daily production of corrugated board. Key responsibilities include training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating employee performance, and promoting safety, quality, and teamwork. The supervisor will lead and motivate employees by example, ensuring efficient and effective operations within a safe work environment and producing a quality product. Effective communication, both oral and written, is essential for interacting with crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel, and external customers and vendors. The position also requires actively promoting and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs. Additionally, the role includes performing training on specific subjects such as safety, machine setup, QMS, machine operation, and PIT operation, and completing related documentation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be willing to work all three shifts and some weekends as needed to cover other supervisor’s vacations and absences.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of supervisory and training experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred.

Responsibilities
