About The Position

We are looking for a RELIEF OPERATOR to join our Harleyville, SC location. As a Relief Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will provide relief coverage for key operational roles, including the Production Technician, Quarry Operator, and Reclaim Operator.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Equipment operation experience (loaders, dozer, excavator, haul trucks, etc.).
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Provide relief coverage for key operational roles, including the Production Technician, Quarry Operator, and Reclaim Operator.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and inspect quarry equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on crushing, conveying, packing, and shipping equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and drivers.
• Equipment experience with Skid Steer loaders , Front end loaders , Dozers, Excavators, Water Trucks, Fork Lift, and Locomotives.
• Operate locomotive and load and move rail cars meeting standard operating procedures.
• Able to perform required PMs on packing and bulk shipping equipment to ensure equipment reliability.
