About The Position

The Production Relief Operator supports various stages of food manufacturing, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. This role is essential to maintaining smooth operations across production lines, packaging, and inventory. You’ll work collaboratively with a small, close-knit team and contribute to a safe, high-quality food production environment.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading comprehension
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required — training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment
• Inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and sanitation procedures; promptly report any safety concerns
• Accurately package and label products for distribution or storage
• Assist with inventory tracking and documentation of materials and finished products
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Willingness to cross-train in other roles
• Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed
