About The Position

The Relief Night Audit position is responsible for covering the front desk during the overnight shift. This role involves assisting guests, ensuring all revenue is accurately posted to the correct departments, balancing all revenue departments daily, and completing necessary reports. The position acts as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the night hours, handling guest inquiries and performing all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company.

Requirements

  • Ability to act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the night time hours.
  • Ability to act as PBX operator during the audit shift.
  • Ability to greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
  • Ability to answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
  • Ability to perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
  • Ability to verify the status of all wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
  • Ability to balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
  • Ability to make deposits of cash.
  • Ability to prepare the front office for the 'A' shift and reset day's business.
  • Ability to attend and actively participate in all front office meetings.
  • Ability to report any suspicious people or activities to security immediately.
  • Ability to own a problem when confronted with one.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the status of all wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
