About The Position

The Relief CDL Driver maximizes sales and distributes products to meet customer needs. The role involves loading and unloading products from the vehicle and verifying contents against invoices. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Drivers with an assigned route earn between $55,000 and $75,000.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Clear motor vehicle record for the past three years.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to read, count, and perform simple math accurately.
• Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work independently using sound judgment and initiative.
• Ability to address problems involving multiple solutions in standard situations.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Ability to regularly lift over 70 pounds and maneuver a loaded hand truck weighing approximately 200 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around large trucks, reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop, and climb in and out of the cab.
• Ability to raise and lower bay doors to load and unload products.
• Ability to walk extensively in and out of customer accounts and ride in a vehicle.
• Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales and distribution of products in assigned accounts using established Company sales methods.
• Ensure products are merchandised and handled effectively and efficiently.
• Accurately and legibly perform route administrative procedures.
• Operate Company vehicles safely and courteously, following traffic regulations and Company safety policies.
• Provide effective customer service.
• Comply with Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures and support the company’s mission and vision.
• Perform other assigned duties to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle and verify contents against invoices.
