About The Position

Bond Vet is looking for extraordinary Relief Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join their team. They believe the role of a conventional nurse has not realized its full potential in any GP or urgent-care clinical environment, and it is their mission to bring this role to the modern day. In this role, veterinary technicians use their medical knowledge and clinical skills to provide routine and urgent care every day. They will participate in surgery and dental procedures, run their own appointments with assistants, and educate pet parents. As a Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will support the team by filling in open shifts and will be compensated at a competitive rate while working alongside a dedicated, supportive, and collaborative team. Bond Vet and Small Door Veterinary merged in July 2026 to build a more connected, accessible, and compassionate veterinary care experience across routine, primary, and urgent care. The combined organization will span more than 55 clinics across major Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest markets, serving over half a million pets. This role will play an important part in shaping the next chapter of the combined organization and advancing its shared mission to transform veterinary care.

Requirements

2+ years experience as a veterinary technician.
A veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) required.
Independent unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Accept new employment for this position.

Responsibilities

Focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team.
Patient Handling and Husbandry
