About The Position
The Carmelite Sisters have provided over 65 years of spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus. We are a Faith-Based Long-Term and Short-Term nursing care facility. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of cooking experience.
- ServSafe certificate.
Responsibilities
- Food is prepared in a nutritional appetizing fashion and presented in an attractive manner.
- Equipment is maintained and kept clean.
- Snacks are made available for residents with special dietary needs.
- Operate equipment: toaster, steam line, plate warmer, dishwasher, coffee maker.
- Check dining area to ensure set up.
- Record refrigerator/freezer & dishwasher temperatures.
- Label & date foods for proper storing.
- Distribute appropriate snacks to floor.
- Sweep & mop floors.
- Clean machinery & stainless-steel counters.
