About The Position

This position is responsible for the preparation of food items and specialty dishes as designated by pre planned menus while displaying a strong commitment to customer service through the delivery of our service standards, safety procedures and standard operating procedures. The role may require rotating to various locations to relieve cooks for breaks or call-outs.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in extreme heat, cold, humid and noisy environment
• Minimum five years experience in different areas of kitchen preparation.
• Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
• Must be able to walk and stand during shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pull and/or push up to 100 pounds
• Ability to grasp, hold, reach, bend, push-pull, stoop, twist, kneel and crouch.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives food orders and prepares according to desired request.
• Assures that presentation is timely and meets quality standards.
• Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed.
• Assures quality production levels are maintained.
• Assists in the control of food and labor costs by eliminating waste and over production.
• May be required to rotate to various locations to relieve cooks for breaks or call-outs.
