About The Position

Caterlink is seeking a Relief Chef to provide cover in the Oxfordshire area, supporting existing site-based teams. This is a term-time only role with no weekend work, offering flexibility. The position requires the use of your own transport as it is a mobile-based role. Caterlink is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all employees to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role. Requirements

• Must have own transport.
• Ability to prepare, cook and present food to required standards.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to complete mandatory paperwork accurately.
• Willingness to enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service.
• Ability to support day-to-day running of a location, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

• Experience in the education sector catering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• Ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• Ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
