Under the supervision of the Lead Shift Supervisor, the Relief Boiler Auxiliary Operator is responsible for the inspection and operation of the main boiler and its auxiliary equipment, including fuel and ash handling systems. The incumbent will be required to work operational shifts as needed due to absences, vacations, or illnesses, otherwise will work a day work schedule. This role involves coordinating with the Unit Operator during equipment start-up, operation, and shutdown, monitoring various systems, performing operational inspections, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position also requires completing required training, reports, and log entries, and performing Unit Auxiliary Operator duties as needed.
