About The Position

The Relief Sales Manager serves customers in the Greater Des Moines, Iowa area when an Account Manager is absent. The role focuses on selling Keurig Dr Pepper brands, replenishment, merchandising, and retaining and growing large-format and on-premise accounts within an assigned territory. The position is full-time, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule starting at 6:30 a.m. and continuing until work is finished. Occasional weekends and overtime may be required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service experience in a retail environment or sales experience with accountability for sales targets or up-selling.
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds repeatedly.
Valid driver's license.
Proof of vehicle insurance.
Access to a dependable and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to grow sales, share, and distribution and meet volume objectives while providing a seamless customer experience in the absence of an Account Manager.
Contact key personnel at assigned accounts to pre-sell products and promotions and discuss displays, point-of-sale materials, beverage-section revamps, and service requirements.
Develop and implement beverage-shelf reallocations to maximize sales of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.
Help install revamped beverage sections and displays and place point-of-sale materials according to company merchandising standards.
Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in allocated beverage sections, including racks and secondary displays.
Assist with the sale, placement, and changing of vendors in chain-store accounts, and regularly check mechanical operation, cleanliness, selection, and product availability.
Maintain accurate sales records for assigned accounts, including reports on promotional activity, competitive sales, and space allocations.
Maintain adequate back stock in each account to ensure product availability for in-store stocking and merchandising.
