About The Position

The Reliability Support Engineer position is responsible for supporting hardware and software engineering teams in building reliable, automated products. This role will oversee engineering lab operations, maintenance, and improvements while supporting electro-mechanical testing, test automation, robotics, and data acquisition.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience developing or operating LabVIEW applications for instrument control, sensor interfacing, and automated data acquisition.
  • Experience integrating, troubleshooting, or programming robotics and automation systems (e.g., robotic arms, linear actuators, PLCs, motor drivers, automated pick-and-place fixtures).
  • Hands-on background executing reliability, environmental, mechanical, and stress tests (thermal chambers, vibration tables, tensile/Instron testing).
  • Strong analytical mindset capable of deep-diving into unexpected test anomalies, system crashes, or sensor drift rather than purely executing repetitive routines.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and summarizing large datasets using Python, MATLAB, spreadsheets, and presentation decks.
  • Solid understanding of electrical/electronic instrumentation: oscilloscopes, DMMs, strain gauges, accelerometers, power supplies, and thermocouples.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and software architecture flowcharts.
  • Responsible management of lab safety, equipment interlocks, fixture mounting, and ESD safe handling.
  • Bachelor of Science in related engineering major (ME, EE, CE, etc.)
