The Reliability Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other building systems. They may be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining which installation or repair services are needed. The Reliability Supervisor will supervise and assign the work of maintenance employees, inspect work for completeness, and determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used. They will also transfer equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary, keep timecards and other routine records, and coordinate, install, inspect, repair, and maintain fresh fruit packing equipment and other related systems. Additionally, they will coordinate, inspect, operate, and maintain the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems (including boiler system), and coordinate and inspect major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems. The role involves assigning and prioritizing work based on production demand, food safety risk, and equipment criticality, providing technical guidance, coaching, and oversight to maintenance mechanics, and ensuring breakdowns and emergency repairs are executed safely and efficiently. The supervisor must also ensure employees are trained and following all company mandated programs including OSHA safety programs and GMP policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned by the Reliability Manager.
