Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) + years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or engineering within a heavy industrial, mining, manufacturing, private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years of experience working with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
  • Three (3) years of experience working with data analysis and Microsoft Excel
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM).
  • Professional reliability credentials such as: Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician
  • Experience with Mining and Industrial Rock Processing Equipment
  • Experience with rotating equipment (kilns, dryers, conveyors, crushers, screeners)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience with machine data analysis tools/software (eg. SCADA)
  • Plant automation / PLC experience
  • Experience with SAP PM module (work orders, PM optimization, reporting)

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective machine monitoring capability and analyze data to determine improvement opportunities
  • Develop, implement, and sustain reliability strategies to improve uptime, reduce failures, and extend asset life
  • Lead or support Preventive / Predictive Maintenance programs and Stockroom optimization efforts
  • Support development and expansion of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, oil analysis, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to transition from time-based to condition-based maintenance strategies
  • Build and maintain reliability dashboards and KPIs to track performance and improvement progress
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on major breakdowns and recurring failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Identify and execute reliability improvement projects with measurable impact to OEE and cost
  • Lead or support continuous improvement projects aligned with plant and corporate goals
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
