About The Position

The Reliability Engineer will perform Dismantle, Inspection, and Failure Analysis (DIFA) on returned or failed equipment and components. This role involves identifying failure modes, determining root causes, and documenting findings in detailed technical reports. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions, analyze reliability data, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment uptime, reliability, and product quality. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, refining failure analysis procedures, and communicating technical findings to stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, root cause investigation, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of failure analysis methodologies, reliability principles, and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze reliability and performance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment uptime, reliability, and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, analyses, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and refining failure analysis procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering practices, and applicable industry requirements.
