About The Position

This role leads production operations in the Plant, focusing on delivering key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale. The position ensures the manufacturing strategy is effectively implemented and strives to build a high-performing organization. The Reliability Engineer will manage change and transformation within operating teams, implementing Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) and Factory of the Future (FoF) concepts. This includes fostering autonomous and progressive maintenance within line teams to achieve self-sufficient operations. The role models company values through coaching, mentoring, and team development. It supports annual operational plans and targets, aligning employees with priorities and KPIs. A strong governance structure is essential for reviewing and controlling operational performance and continuous improvement, embedding a zero-loss mindset. The role drives the operating team to identify and manage improvements in technology, culture, capability, and operating systems for best-practice, reliable operations. It also ensures adherence to all manufacturing standards, governance, and compliance requirements, including quality, food safety, GMP, health, safety, security, environment, sustainability, code of conduct, policies, and local legal requirements. Furthermore, the role is accountable for talent management, capability building, and engagement within the manufacturing team, identifying levers to attract, retain, and develop critical talent. Effective partnership with internal and external multi-functional peers is crucial for achieving objectives and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building
  • An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
  • Engineering Degree or equivelent
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production operations in the Plant and deliver key performance targets (SQCDSM) in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, organizational morale.
  • Ensure manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective.

  • Manage change/transformation amongst the Operating teams in the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey, FoF-Factory of Future Line centric organization & roles (AM-Autonomous Maintenance, PM-Progressive Maintenance and an integrated 6 star model within operating Line teams) to progress into Self sufficient teams.
  • Role model Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team.
  • Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need.
  • Coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI’s.
  • Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally.
  • Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.
  • Support all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
  • Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team - identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and builds capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future.
  • Partner effectively with all multi-functional peers internally & externally (outside the plant) to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s.
  • Accountable for equipment reliability for site.
  • BDA work process owner and strategy to o breakdown.
  • Focused on TBM and CBM and continuous improvement of the maintenance task.
  • Review Planning of Preventative maintenance standards & Update for new TBM and CBM.
  • KPI and KAI and data analysis for TBM and CBM for maintenance and DMS data update.
  • Coordination with Maintenance team lead and Operation team for schedule.
  • Ensuring, schedule, tools, parts, and instructions are in place for effective execution.( SIMPTWW).
  • Detailed execution knowledge of PM steps specially PM Step2/3/4.
  • Review the executed WO and update for improvement.
  • Master data management and update.
  • PM Pillar Support and compliance.
  • Technical master for the own areas and technical skill development of resources & work standards creation.
  • Maintenance improvement project execution.
  • Overall planning based on budget.
  • OWN BDA Work process & related KAIs and KPIs.
  • Manage Direct Reports Administrative Items (vacation, absences, call ins, Infor, Discipline, etc).
