About The Position

The Reliability Analyst is responsible for the compilation of data and timely issuance of various reliability reports to company personnel and the FAA. This role involves collecting, validating, and analyzing fleet-wide performance and component reliability data to identify adverse trends, repetitive discrepancies, and systemic failure modes across aircraft systems. The analyst will conduct monthly evaluations of Pilot Reports (PIREPs) and Maintenance Reports (MREPs) to detect emerging patterns requiring engineering or maintenance program action. They will perform Final Fix Analysis (FFA) on recurring aircraft system faults, applying root-cause methodology to isolate true corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Additionally, the analyst will develop and maintain CASS and Reliability program reports, synthesizing fleet reliability metrics and component removal data for monthly CASS Board review, and generate the Mechanical Interruption Summary Report (MISR) for submission to the Certificate Holding District Office (CHDO) in compliance with FAA regulatory requirements. The position requires translating raw aircraft data into structured, executive-ready findings that inform maintenance strategy, reliability targets, and cross-functional decision-making. Collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and OEM representatives is expected to investigate and resolve reliability findings. The analyst will champion the adoption of modern analytical platforms and innovative approaches to continuously improve program sophistication and maintain all program documentation in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and applicable airworthiness directives. Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir. Other duties as assigned.
