About The Position

The Reliability Analyst is responsible for the compilation of data and timely issuance of various reliability reports to company personnel and the FAA. This role involves collecting and analyzing data related to aircraft systems and component performance and reliability, evaluating pilot and/or maintenance control reports daily to identify trends or repetitive discrepancies, and collecting and analyzing fleet and component reliability for CASS and Reliability reports. The analyst will also assist in the preparation of monthly CASS and Reliability reports, identifying items of concern for review and action by CASS board members, and generate the Mechanical Interruption Summary Report for distribution to the CHDO monthly. Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir.

Requirements

  • Ability to use and develop word processing, spreadsheets, and database computer software programs and files.
  • Acceptable knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Company manuals, and Company procedures.
  • Qualifications acceptable to the Sr. Manager of Reliability.
  • Hold a valid state issued driver’s license.
  • Proficient in Excel and ability to learn and apply other applications as needed.
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Compile data and issue reliability reports to company personnel and the FAA.

  • Collect and analyze fleet and component reliability for CASS and Reliability reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly CASS and Reliability reports, identifying items of concern for review and action by CASS board members.
  • Generate the Mechanical Interruption Summary Report for distribution to the CHDO monthly.
  • Perform surveillance supporting the CASS and Reliability programs.
  • Recommend maintenance and program changes to the Maintenance Program Manual.
