As a safety and reliability analyst, you won’t be on the sidelines—you’ll actively collaborate with experienced analysts and engineers working on critical safety assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of experience; Master’s degree with 3 to 8 years of experience
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Effective team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to write clear, high-quality technical reports (advanced English level)
  • Strong critical thinking with the ability to analyze complex hardware and control systems

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of engine turbomachinery and/or control systems (hydromechanical, electronic, software), and aircraft powerplant systems (an asset)
  • Solid foundation in probability and statistics (an asset)
  • Programming and automation skills (an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with airframers, regulatory authorities, suppliers, partners, customer support and engineering teams to define safety requirements
  • Perform system safety analyses to verify compliance with safety requirements; actively participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support engine design activities
  • Prepare engine certification documentation and supporting analyses for aircraft-level certification, including Fault Tree Analyses, Safety Plans, FMEA reports, Common Mode Assessments, and Fire Safety reports
  • Conduct technical investigations and develop solutions for issues encountered during development and in-service operation
  • Perform quantitative and/or qualitative Safety Risk Assessments (SRAs) to support fleet management strategies for continued airworthiness
  • Acquire and develop technical discipline leadership, including process improvements and analytical tools, and share knowledge through documentation and technical presentations
