The Release Manager will be responsible for managing the "end to end" technical or solution delivery of assigned tasks, partnering with Network engineering/implementation teams, program/project managers, or directly with the requestor. This role takes direct accountability for engineering resources and all assigned work tasks, including STI/Release and Deployment tasks from pre-change through Production Day-One. The Release Manager will develop, track, and report on engineering delivery tasks, proactively resolving issues and conflicts. They will provide regular status updates to STI/Release and Deployment management, advocate on behalf of CTO Operations/STI, and work with program/project managers to establish release/impact/risk trackers and calendars. This role requires identifying and challenging schedules that could create conflicts, evaluating changes, and ensuring implementation schedules do not interfere with business operations. The Release Manager will also ensure necessary documentation is completed, raise Change Requests (CRQs) for engineering changes, review change requests for completeness, participate in the change management board, conduct release readiness reviews, and arrange post-implementation review activities, maintaining 100% compliance with Change Management policies. Additionally, they will participate in incident and problem analysis for potential consequences of changes.
