Requirements

  • 5+ years managing configuration control in Defense or enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools and CMDB platforms (e.g. , BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Snipe-IT, Excel-based tracking)
  • Knowledge of Windows and network device configurations (e.g. Cisco IOS)
  • Experience interpreting DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and change documentation.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation practices and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Cyber, Ops, Engineering).
  • Understanding of version control, baseline management, and Defense configuration policies
  • Active SECRET clearance required (TS/SCI preferred or ability to obtain)
  • US citizenship required due to clearance requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • IAT Level II (e.g. Security+ CE)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation, Configuration Management Professional (CMP) cert, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting US Central Command systems and theater mission enclaves
  • Prior involvement in CAB processes, POA&M tracking, and RMF audits
  • Ability to develop configuration documentation
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues
  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
  • Acts as primary liaison between Program Management and other functional groups and resolves any issues regarding configuration management documentation
  • Integrates software, develops external interfaces, and maintains technical documentation
  • Establishes, documents, implements, manages, and monitors the release management process in line with overall objectives, and ensure program-wide compliance
  • Measures and monitors progress to help ensure application/version releases are delivered in a timely manner and meet expectations
  • Helps define exact content and roll out plan for a release, aligned with change management processes
  • Helps identify all applicable stakeholders per release, notifies, communicates, and manages expectations as required during the planning and roll out of new release
