Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Relationship Specialist for our brand-new branch in Oxford, North Carolina. The Relationship Specialist leaves a lasting impression and assists our customers with a variety of financial transactions. Requirements

• 3-5 years of previous banking experience preferred
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Experience working with the public and handling money
• Basic math and computer skills
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
• Friendly and personable
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and conscientious
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Can remain confident and calm in challenging situations

Responsibilities

• Greet customers cheerfully as they walk through the doors.
• Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments.
• Utilize product knowledge to recommend financial products and services.
• Maintain a cash drawer with proper controls, vouchers, receipts, security, and proofs, ensuring it balances at the end of each day.
• Assist customers on the phone or online with basic financial transactions such as looking up account info, posting transfers, and taking loan applications.
• Answer questions about products and services to both existing and potential customers.
• Solve problems for customers.
• Take on all service opportunities, from easy to challenging.
• Process new accounts.
• Update customer and account information.
• Provide needs-based solutions for customers.
