About The Position

Monark is seeking a Relationship Manager to be the trusted operator behind the company's most important external relationships. This role owns the success of distribution clients end to end, ensuring they have the resources needed to launch, scale, and drive deal volume through Monark’s infrastructure. The position operates at the intersection of partnerships, deal execution, and product, serving as the day-to-day point of contact for distribution clients, the connective tissue between client and internal teams, and is accountable for converting relationships into recurring deal flow. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with supply brokers and the deal execution team to match supply with client demand and will provide client feedback to the product team for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of account management or relationship management experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, capital markets, or a B2B platform serving wealth management or brokerage clients.
  • A track record of growing accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Bias toward action.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with alternative assets, private fund structures, SPVs, or pre-IPO secondaries.
  • Prior experience working with broker-dealers, RIAs, custodians, or wealth management platforms as a partner or vendor.
  • A background that includes both client-facing relationship work and some exposure to deal execution or product.
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Granola, and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship, serving as the primary point of contact post-signature and building trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Drive deal volume by working with supply brokers to identify and package pre-IPO supply for clients.
  • Maintain a regular client cadence through weekly calls to gather feedback, surface blockers, and track open items.
  • Ensure client success by supporting them with marketing collateral, investor education materials, and frontend implementation suggestions.
  • Quarterback client integrations from kickoff through go-live, coordinating across internal teams (product, engineering, compliance, deal execution).
  • Match supply to demand by partnering with supply brokers and the deal execution team to launch and close SPVs.
  • Represent Monark externally, speaking fluently about pre-IPO mechanics, SPV structures, and the platform.
