About The Position

In our Institutional Trust and Custody Customer Care team, the role of Relationship Manager – Principal Custody Solutions develops lasting relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, finance contacts, trustees, and third-party administrators that are in our institutional space. This role is the strategic partner to our clients to provide scalable solutions that meet business goals of retention and growth. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or 8 years of equivalent experience and 6+ years of experience in both DB and DC products.
  • Deep Trust and Custody experience strongly preferred for both retirement and non-retirement assets.
  • Relationship management experience required, and sales related experience preferred.
  • Must possess excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, persuasive oral/written communication, experience in working with committees and strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate experience building client relationships at all levels but especially at the key decision maker (KDM) level. Building and delivering a strategy for your client base.
  • Expertise in working with client base in a virtual environment.
  • Effectively dealing with ambiguity and managing change.
  • Proven experience selling or influencing multiple decision makers.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-graduate study resulting in an MA, MS or MBA degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the consultant on plan goals, investments, plan operations/financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to expand your client relationships by identifying additional products/services to help our clients achieve their goals.
  • Relationship plan reviews for your book of business highlighting best practices and technology solutions.
  • Building and cultivating relationships with key decision makers and C-Suite executives.
  • Highly responsive to client inquiries and problem solving.
  • Leading client projects with successful implementation.
