About The Position

Quantum ePay® is a growing fintech company dedicated to providing innovative payment processing solutions and merchant technology. We are looking for a skilled Relationship Manager to support and expand our Independent Sales Organization (ISO) and Agent Partner Channel. This role involves being the main point of contact for a portfolio of ISO partners across various risk categories and merchant verticals. The goal is to help partners increase production, manage complex risk situations, and ensure excellent merchant experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, a solid grasp of payment processing, underwriting, risk management, merchant onboarding, and portfolio development. This position requires collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Risk, Underwriting, Operations, Product, and Customer Support to ensure partner success and sustained growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in merchant services, payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Experience supporting ISO, Agent, ISV, or referral partner channels.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, underwriting, risk management, chargebacks, and merchant onboarding.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and account management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting high-risk or specialty merchant verticals.
  • Knowledge of card processing networks, sponsor banks, and payment regulations.
  • Understanding of ACH, alternative payment methods, eCommerce gateways, and POS solutions.
  • Payments industry certifications (ETA CPP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned ISO and Agent partners.
  • Build trusted relationships with principals, sales leaders, and operational contacts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on portfolio growth, merchant retention, and risk performance.
  • Act as the voice of the partner internally, advocating for solutions that improve partner and merchant outcomes.
  • Drive incremental processing volume and revenue growth within assigned portfolios.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across payment products, value-added services, technology solutions, and specialty processing programs.
  • Support partner recruiting, expansion initiatives, and strategic growth plans.
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams on new partner acquisitions and onboarding.
  • Guide partners through underwriting requirements across all risk categories.
  • Assist with complex merchant approvals, exception requests, and escalation management.
  • Coordinate with Risk and Compliance teams regarding fraud trends, chargebacks, reserves, monitoring programs, and account reviews.
  • Educate partners on risk mitigation best practices and processing guidelines.
  • Deliver ongoing training on products, programs, systems, and market opportunities.
  • Support partner adoption of CRM, boarding, reporting, and portfolio management tools.
  • Develop presentations, business cases, and performance reports to help partners increase production.
  • Own partner escalations from initiation through resolution.
  • Coordinate with Customer Support, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Technical teams to resolve merchant issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of satisfaction across both partner and merchant relationships.
