The Relationship Manager position is a fundamental position at United Bank. Relationship Managers have the important role of being the first impression our customers have of United Bank. You will assist customers with their banking needs, including processing transactions, managing accounts, referring to affiliates, and other general office and banking tasks. You will have a distinguished role in customer experience by making loans, opening new accounts, cross-selling services, and resolving problems. You will also coordinate work assignments for the branch staff and supervise the daily branch operations. You will assist in coaching and developing branch employees. It is the relationship you build with customers that creates account retention.

Requirements

  • Driven individuals focused on building relationships with customers by meeting their financial objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, follow instructions, learn new tasks, and follow-up.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent two-year college or technical school.
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • Regular standing and walking.
  • Utilizing hands & arms.
  • Ability to talk & hear.

Nice To Haves

  • Several years of experience or one year of banking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with their banking needs, including processing transactions, managing accounts, referring to affiliates, and other general office and banking tasks.
  • Make loans, open new accounts, cross-sell services, and resolve problems.
  • Coordinate work assignments for the branch staff and supervise the daily branch operations.
  • Assist in coaching and developing branch employees.
  • Register and maintain NMLS Unique Identifying Number.
  • Perform areas of compliance as it relates to your position.
  • May be assigned special projects or additional duties.
