About The Position

The Relationship Banker engages clients in the financial center lobby, educates and assists them with transactions using self-service resources such as mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs, and processes cash transactions accurately and efficiently as needed. The role includes having in-depth conversations to understand clients’ financial and life priorities and connecting them with solutions that support their goals. The position is based at specified financial centers in Maryland’s North Market and requires 40 hours per week on first shift. Weekend and/or extended hours may be required, and scheduling may include a financial center within a reasonable distance.

• Able to work weekends and/or extended hours, which may include assignment to any financial center within a reasonable distance.
• High School Diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent.
• 40 hours per week; first shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in financial services and knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and solutions.
• One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary-plus-incentive environment with individual sales goals.
• Six months of cash-handling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or business-relevant Associate’s degree, such as business management, business administration, or finance.
• Skills: adaptability, business acumen, customer and client focus, oral communications, problem solving, account management, client experience, branding, client management, client solutions advisory, relationship building, business development, pipeline management, prospecting, referral identification, and referral management.

Responsibilities

• Execute the bank’s risk culture and strive for operational excellence.
• Build relationships with clients to meet their financial needs.
• Follow established processes and guidelines, acting in clients’ and the bank’s best interests and adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
• Build business knowledge and a professional network by partnering with experts in small business, lending, and investments.
• Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls effectively.
• Drive the client experience.
• Manage cash responsibilities.
• Engage clients in the lobby and educate and assist them with transactions through self-service resources, including mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs.
• Accurately and efficiently process cash transactions for clients as needed.
• Understand clients’ financial and life priorities and connect them to solutions that meet their financial goals.
