About The Position
At Orange County’s Federal Credit Union (OCFCU), the Relationship Banker serves as a trusted financial partner to members, combining service, sales, and problem-solving to help members navigate their financial needs. The role handles teller transactions, opens accounts, supports consumer loan applications, recommends suitable products and services, and resolves member questions using a consultative, relationship-focused approach. Mandarin or Spanish fluency is preferred, with Mandarin specifically highlighted in the qualifications. The position is based in Mission Viejo. The schedule requires Monday–Saturday availability, with weekday hours between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM and Saturday hours between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Compensation varies by level: Member Service Rep IV pays $23.00–$25.00 per hour, and Senior Rep I–II pays $25.50–$27.00 per hour. Pre-employment background and credit checks are required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a bank or credit union.
- Hands-on experience with teller transactions, new account openings, and consumer lending.
- At least 2 years of cross-selling and referring financial products.
- Clear, friendly communication; professional and approachable manner.
- Comfort learning and using multiple systems and platforms.
- Availability Monday through Saturday, during the stated weekday and Saturday hours.
- Completion of required pre-employment background and credit checks.
Nice To Haves
