About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its W. Main Street location in St. Charles. The role focuses on building and retaining meaningful customer relationships by understanding customers’ financial needs and recommending suitable products and services. The Relationship Banker contributes to branch success through customer service, account support, teller transactions, risk awareness, and connections to specialized banking experts. Depending on the shift, the role may include opening or closing the bank. The position also supports community and bank events.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school diploma or GED.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, discover customers’ financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer while serving customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, handle bank opening or closing.
Help support community and bank events.
