About The Position

At Regions, the Relationship Banker I provides an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and by phone while helping customers improve their financial wellness. This position is based at the Cordova branch in Pensacola, Florida. It is full-time, incentive eligible, and eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week. The listed job-range target minimum is $37,621.05 USD, with a median of $44,536.00 USD; incentive earnings are based on performance against defined metrics and goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and maintaining sustained attention to a monitor.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to oversee large sums of cash.
Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Provide a consistent, optimal customer experience on the cash line while processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
Answer customer questions about products and services and fulfill basic servicing requests, including card replacements, information changes, PIN resets, check reorders, and basic problem resolution.
Develop relationships with customers and stay informed about their relationships with the bank.
Educate customers about standard consumer products and digital banking solutions, including mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to resolve customer problems.
Refer customers to internal experts when more complex financial goals and needs are identified.
Follow bank processes and procedures and applicable laws and regulations; complete duties assigned by the Branch Manager and help ensure sound banking practices, including identifying and reporting operational risks.
Contribute to branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance about Regions’ solutions.
May make outbound calls to customers and prospects from generated lead lists to explain emerging technology and assist with their financial needs.
