Relationship Bankers build relationships with customers across in-person, appointment-based, and virtual channels, providing counsel while adopting a digital-first mindset. They assess customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, explain deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions aligned with individual goals. They develop relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, learn about customers’ financial needs and channel preferences, and deliver a consistent client experience, including greeting customers and processing basic transactions. The role requires working collaboratively with branch colleagues and partners, maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products—including digital offerings—and using available resources and technology to serve customers accurately and efficiently. Duties include opening consumer and business accounts, completing service requests, submitting credit applications, and educating customers about digital and self-service options. The position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Registration involves criminal background and credit checks; failure to meet or maintain registration requirements may result in rescission of an offer or termination of employment.
