About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in Industrial Relations (ADM3734A) for the Fall 2026 semester at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. The course covers theories of industrial relations, structures and functions of trade unions, employer-employee relations, labor legislation and policies, collective agreement negotiation and administration, and negotiation outcomes. The course will be delivered in person, but the mode of instruction may change due to health or other reasons. Requirements

  • Must hold an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in the field of industrial relations.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience related to the course subject matter.
  • Must have teaching experience, ideally in the field of industrial relations.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably a Doctorate in industrial relations.
  • Ideally, experience in teaching industrial relations.

Responsibilities
